1. Summary
We do not collect personal data. Researchly stores your content locally on your device. No analytics, tracking, advertising identifiers, or developer-controlled servers are used.

3. What We Collect
Nothing personally identifiable. The App does not collect, store, or transmit personal information. Your notes, references, and settings remain on your device unless you export or share them yourself.
4. Local Storage & Security
The App relies on the operating system's secure storage and modern cryptographic APIs (e.g., keychain/secure enclave where available) to encrypt or protect data at rest. While encryption reduces risk, no method is 100% secure. Keep your device updated and back up your data regularly.
5. Network Activity & Third Parties
The App may fetch publicly available research metadata, trends, or statistics from third-party endpoints to display in-app content. These requests generally do not include personal data from the App. Third parties may process technical data (e.g., IP address) per their own policies when your device connects to them. The developer has no control over and no access to such processing.

6. Children's Privacy
The App is rated 4+. It is not intended for unsupervised use by children under four. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact us to request deletion. As we collect none, we will confirm and advise accordingly.
7. Your GDPR Rights
Under the GDPR, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port personal data, and to object to processing. Because we do not process personal data, these rights generally do not apply in practice. You can still contact us at researchly@outlook.com with any privacy questions.
8. International Transfers
The developer does not transfer your personal data because none is collected. Any network access to third-party services is a direct connection from your device to those services under their policies.
9. Data Retention
We retain no personal data on our servers. Your content is stored on your device until you delete the App or remove the data yourself.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect functionality or legal changes. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
